Leading organic growing charity with three stunning demonstration grounds in the South of England

Garden Organic is a charity deadicated to researching and promoting oragnic growing.

The organisation manages three organic demonstration gardens showcasing all aspects of organic growing.

Garden Organic Yalding in Kent is a unique visitor experience, providing a tour through gardening history while demonstrating organic growing techniques in fourteen individual gardens.

Audley End in Essex is a glorious Jacobean stately home owned by English Heritage. Garden Organic painstakingly restored its walled kitchen garden from an overgrown, semi-derelict state in 1999.

Garden Organic Ryton in the Midlands has over 30 individual gardens in ten acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. It boasts Britain’s Best Organic restaurant, the world’s first public biodynamic garden, an award winning organic shop and interactive visitor experience - the Vegetable Kingdom.

This site is also home to the charity’s renowned Heritage Seed Library, which protects over 800 varieties of rare vegetable seeds from the threat of extinction.

The organicsation also runs a free national eduaction programme, a sustainable waste programme training volunteers to teach others in their community to compost as well as major research and international development programmes that help growers across the UK and overseas adopt organic methods.

Garden Organic members help to support the charity's work and can access practical and specialist advice through a quarterly magazine, members only website and information sheets, and Garden Organic’s dedicated team of organic advisors.

Members also gain unlimited free admission to Garden Organic’s demonstration gardens along with the RHS gardens at Wisley, Harlow Carr, Rosemoor and Hyde Hall, plus over 20 other gardens across the UK.
