Spring into Spring - the Green Way.

It is the perfect time to rid old things and really take into account what you have. Start by spring-cleaning your wardrobe Why not get really creative and craft together new items by cutting up old ones and getting your long-lost sewing machine out to use? It is a great way to save money and to recycle originally unwanted clothes (we always find exciting and forgotten gems at the back of our wardrobes anyway!). If such handiwork isn’t your cup of tea, why not donate any unwanted items to charity or organise an evening with friends where you exchange clothes or accessories for free! Get the girls round for a glass of wine and a natter and exchange clothes and other items as well as having a much-needed catch-up!

With the sun shining and tulips now flowering, it is the perfect time of year to get out and about and enjoy yourself! Go for long walks in the country and enjoy the sweet scents of spring. Pop to the butchers and get some locally reared meat to support their hard work and enjoy a really tasty and hearty meal. Attend galleries or locally organised events where you can get to know your local neighbours and support your local community. Let’s all try to make a more concerted effort to encourage a community spirit.

We are always so busy these days that we often forget just how fortunate we all are. Do something out of the ordinary this Bank Holiday weekend and do something spontaneous! Go on, you know you want to!
