There are several individuals and groups who are commiting to living a plastic free life. Where many people are refusing plastic bags, some people are going much further and committing to avoiding plastic in their lives altogether.
No one is suggesting this is going to be easy but it is a great way to discover how to do it, find alternatives and in some cases change completely.
The great thing is that the people who are pioneering this and writing their blogs will be inspiring the rest of us as how to live a reduced plastic life if not a plastic free one. Their learning will provide learning and inspiration for us all and highlight just how prevelant plastic is in our lives. The blogs are fascinating and are full of new tips as to how to mange with less plastic. If you do not feel up to going the whole hog you can at least decide some – may be just one - action you can take to reduce plastic inspired by these people.
